The Jacobus Lions Club was chartered on May 17, 1952, with the purpose of taking an active interest in the civic, cultural, social, and moral welfare of the community.
In March of 1963, the Jacobus Lions Ambulance Club began as a featured service project. Since then, the organization has provided prompt, professional emergency medical care to Jacobus and the surrounding areas.
Today, Jacobus Lions Club Foundation continues that mission by supporting Advanced Life Support ambulance service, equipment, supplies, and emergency readiness for the community.
